The Rep Handbook is an overview of the policies and processes of the Ivanhoe Darebin Basketball Association Junior Representative Basketball Program. Policies and processes may be varied by the committee or its officers whenever special or unusual circumstances apply.

Code of Conduct

Ivanhoe Darebin Basketball Association (IDBA) supports our community by developing basketball players and creating a place for people who are passionate about basketball, to connect with each other. The guidelines below are based on the  Basketball Victoria Code of Conduct which also lists conduct expectations for coaches, officials, referees and committees. They also reflect the principles on which our club is based.

What is Representative Basketball?

Ivanhoe Darebin Basketball Association has girls and boys’ teams representing the association in the Melbourne United Victorian Junior Basketball League (MUVJBL). We have a strong development program headed by Coaching Director Michael Follacchio, and we are looking for eager, talented players of all ages to try out for our teams.
